Approximately 1 in 59 children has been identified with autism,

which occurs in all racial, ethnic and socioeconomic groups

This series is designed to support providers in the screening, diagnosis and management of patients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental delays (DD). Session topics include screening for ASD, evaluating common behavioral challenges and implementing practical behavioral strategies for children with ASD, managing sleep challenges in children with ASD and DD, management of anxiety and ADHD in children with ASD, and medical workup in children with ASD and DD. In addition, resources and referral information will be shared throughout the series and participants will have the opportunity to present cases for discussion.

Audience:
Colorado-based Primary Care Providers (MD, DO, APP) and Clinical Psychologists

Commitment:
Six bi-weekly ECHO sessions
Every first and third Thursday of the month, 12:00 - 1:00 PM MST
July 18 - October 3

CME:
This ECHO Colorado series will be reviewed and acceptable for up to 6.0 credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Participants should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity (1.0 credit per session).
