Approximately 1 in 54 children has been identified with autism,
which occurs in all racial, ethnic and socioeconomic groups

The Pediatric Care Network (PCN) and the Developmental Pediatrics team has partnered with ECHO Colorado (Extension for Community Health Outcomes) to offer an advanced training workshop for PCN practices. This addition to the PCN Autism program will provide an interactive platform for ongoing discussion, in-depth consultation and advanced training on complex topics. Sample content from this ECHO series includes medication management of autism and mental health comorbidities, genetic testing referrals and how to discuss this with families, and navigating Colorado resources. In this six-session series, participants will attend weekly virtual meetings with the PCN Developmental Pediatrics team, a multidisciplinary group that includes psychologists, developmental behavioral pediatricians, social workers, a genetic counselor, and others. Continuing Education credits will be offered upon completion of this series.
