Everyone has something to learn.
Everyone has something to share.
The ECHO is a unique, cooperative learning experience designed to help spread knowledge and understanding among health and health care professionals. It takes actionable information presented by an expert or specialist on a specific topic and applies it to case-based examples that participants bring to the table. To help foster an atmosphere where everyone can share and learn, most ECHO sessions involve a cohort of 15 to 20 that includes the topic experts and all participants.
Because improving health within communities often involves more than just treatment and prevention, ECHO Colorado offers a variety of topic-based ECHO series. Our clinical series are designed to improve practice capabilities around a single topic area for primary care practitioners and allied health professionals. Our public health series are designed to improve current disease prevention efforts and health promotion programs using actual case examples, so best practices can be shared across programs and committees.
