Every time someone is diagnosed with pulmonary
or laryngeal tuberculosis (TB) disease, approximately
ten additional people become infected

Tuberculosis Enhanced Case Management (TB EMC) provides an opportunity for interactive learning and serves to support local Public Health Agencies (LPHAs) and partners. Many LPHAs and practitioners may not have experience with screening, testing and treating patients with TB infection or disease. TB ECM provides opportunities to gain knowledge and consult subject-matter experts on a case-specific basis. This connection will help you get patients through care and keep your communities safe.

Local public health TB staff and private providers caring for TB patients, and those who care for the TB patient in other facets of their life such as HIV counselors, mental health professionals, and homeless advocates.
