Over half of colorectal cancer deaths could be prevented with screening.

This series is offered in partnership with the Community Health Association of Mountain/Plains States (CHAMPS) and the Rocky Mountain Public Health Training Center (RMPHTC).

In this series, health center professionals from Region VIII Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) will share strategies to improve colorectal cancer screening rates in community health centers. Sessions will cover identifying patients and options for screening, creating policies for your health, and best practices for communicating and coordinating care. This series is designed for multidisciplinary staff, including Clinical, Quality Improvement and Administrative Leadership Professionals.

Audience:
This series is intended for those coordinating the care of patients at region VIII health centers (CO, UT, WY, MT, ND, SD) to improve colorectal cancer screening rates.  This may include care coordinators, patient navigators, case managers, or similar positions.
