The CDC notes that schools are one of the most efficient
systems for reaching children and youth to provide health
services and programs, as approximately 95% of U.S. children
and youth attend school

This ECHO series will increase school nurses' awareness of behavioral health concerns that commonly emerge in school settings, including learning to identify warning signs and red flags that indicate students need additional behavioral health supports. You'll learn about next steps and how to coordinate with the multi-disciplinary school team to assess the student and create individual supports in school. Additionally, participants will learn about resources for referrals and tips for coordinating outside behavioral health interventions.
