This four-part series is designed to help hospitals implement an evidence-based MAT program to improve the standard of care across health care institutions and enhance efforts around hospital reporting metrics.

Series One

HOSPITAL-BASED MEDICATION FOR ADDICTION TREATMENT:
THE VALUE ADD

This three-week series will enable participants to make a compelling case for the development of a MAT program in their hospital. Topic areas include the epidemiology and costs of the opioid use disorder (OUD) epidemic, the case for starting a hospital-based MAT program, an interprofessional model of care and understanding and combating the stigma associated with OUD.

This educational activity is jointly provided by AXIS Medical Education and Colorado Hospital Association.

This series has been approved for 3.0 contact hours for CME, CNE and Pharmacy. Participants will need to attend ALL sessions in order to receive credit.
