Up to 11% of children and 28% of adolescents

have reoccurring headaches

Understanding and supporting the needs of children with chronic neurological conditions presents many challenges for school nurses. Having the confidence to appropriately manage these conditions requires additional learning and access to resources to ensure these students can thrive in their education.

Offered in partnership with the Children's Hospital Colorado School Health Program, this series supports building capacity for school nurses to help students with a neurological condition (i.e., seizures, non-epileptic events, headaches, or minor head trauma) participate and learn to their full potential.
