This ECHO series provides knowledge and tools that organizations can use to build systems of transgender affirming care in health care settings. Common language and implementation tactics will be covered. This series is focused on system changes rather than medical interventions.

Series objectives include developing gender-affirming language to discuss the health care issues faced by transgender patients, changes to clinic systems that can positively affect the health care experience of transgender patients, and strategies that can be used to gain buy-in from clinic staff and leadership in the effort to provide gender-affirming health care.
