ECHO Colorado proudly joined the Colorado School-Based Health Centers 2019 Conference in Keystone May 2-3rd. We were grateful for the invitation to collaborate in presenting and exhibiting at the conference in support of the theme, Coming Together For Kids. Over the two days, we enjoyed celebrating, and exploring, opportunities in which ECHO Colorado has, and can, continue to collaborate with School-Based Health Centers.
Executive Director, John F.”Fred” Thomas, Ph.D., offered a presentation on telehealth strategies and considerations. Board Member, Jeff Bontrager MSPH (Director of Research on Coverage and Access, Colorado Health Institute) provided a crowd-pleaser lunch presentation integrating the future-thinking Jetson’s cartoons into reflections of how modern-day health care is catching up to the futuristic ways of our beloved cartoon. His presentation included highlighting where ECHO Colorado fits among the spectrum between e-consults, telehealth, and in-person visits.
While our Marketing and Outreach Manager, Halley Hadfield, engaged with participants to learn about their experiences participating in our 2018 series and sharing materials for the upcoming Pediatric Asthma Treatment and Management series to launch Fall of 2019.Â
A big thank you to the entire Colorado School-Based Health Centers Team for inviting and hosting us!
