THE VALUE ADD
This three-week series will enable participants to make a compelling case for the development of a MAT program in their hospital. Topic areas include the epidemiology and costs of the opioid use disorder (OUD) epidemic, the case for starting a hospital-based MAT program, an interprofessional model of care and understanding and combating the stigma associated with OUD.
This educational activity is jointly provided by AXIS Medical Education and Colorado Hospital Association.
This series has been approved for 3.0 contact hours for CME, CNE and Pharmacy. Participants will need to attend ALL sessions in order to receive credit.

BUPRENORPHINE CLINICAL APPLICATION
This series will focus on the application of Buprenorphine in a hospital setting. Topics include the assessment of OUD, the clinical application of Buprenorphine, considerations related to pain management and the formulation of in-hospital interdisciplinary care.

OPIOID SAFETY INITIATIVES AND HTP
This series will focus on providing hospitals with the key information they need to develop or improve upon existing opioid use disorder (OUD)-related initiatives, particularly those that may be implemented as part of Colorado’s new Hospital Transformation Program (HTP). Session topics include best practices to focus on for the ED ALTO HTP metric; a panel on the CHA Hospital Medicine ALTO Pilot; and the benefits of the Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) tool.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR MAT AND SBIRT INITIATIVES
This series provides a forum where hospitals implementing MAT and SBIRT initiatives can ask experts their questions, learn from their peers, and share ideas and best practices to improve upon the work they are doing.
