adding $889,000 to a community’s economy

Precepting requires different skills than those required to excel as a clinician.

This free five-week series will offer introductory skills designed for those clinicians interested in a role as a clinical educator within their practice. Clinical professionals (MD, DO, APRN, PA, NP, PharmD, and others)  with an interest in student mentorship, are encouraged to participate. 

This series is offered in partnership with the Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence and supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the US Department of Health and Human Services. 

 

FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS FOR ENTRY-LEVEL PRECEPTORS

Audience:
Clinicians interested in precepting who work in Region VIII (CO, MT, WY, UT, ND, SD)

Rural Preceptor Tax Credit:
A new $1,000 personal income tax credit is available to the following disciplines: MD, DO, APN, PA, DDS, DMD who precept in rural communities.
